The Association Claude et Felix Lanzmann (A.C.F.L.) aims to preserve the memory of Claude Lanzmann, filmmaker, writer, director of the magazine Les Temps Modernes, intellectual leader committed to fighting colonialism and supporting Israel.

Who we are

Dominique Lanzmann, president of the A.C.F.L., research physician, widow of the director, responsible for the moral rights and universal legatee of his work.

Marc Sagnol, secretary of the A.C.F.L., researcher, Germanist, philosopher, former director of the French Institutes of Dresden and Kiev, member of the editorial board of Temps Modernes and Claude Lanzmann's assistant for Sobibor, October 14, 1943, 4 p.m.

Corinna Coulmas, Doctor of Letters, reader, author and Claude Lanzmann's first collaborator on Shoah.

What are our objectives?

• To preserve Claude Lanzmann's memory and ensure that his moral rights are respected.
• To promote the influence and dissemination of its audiovisual and literary work throughout the world.
• Take part in events (conferences, screenings, symposia, exhibitions, publications, etc.) focusing on the work of Claude Lanzmann.
• Collect, inventory, safeguard and promote Claude Lanzmann's archives, including all existing material.
• Make archives available for academic research, host researchers in residence.
